Shapur Cave

Location : Fars Province, Shapur Cave

Description : This beautiful cave was built during the Sassanid era (almost 1500 years ago) and the statue of Shapur Shah was built from the heart of a limestone cave. You can see a panoramic view from inside the cave at the foot of the statue and its entrance gate.
